Mediation Through a Distinct Commercial Lens
Barry Jordan is a respected commercial and financial specialist who has operated at the highest levels with public and private sector organisations. He has worked at the coalface of commercial disputes and contested matters for over 25 years. His notable forensic and litigation experience means he is uniquely placed to help resolve your commercial dispute.
A fresh perspective on complex financial and commercial disputes
With a background as a forensic accountant, insolvency specialist and commercial negotiator, Barry has the hands on experience to help you reach effective solutions to seemingly intractable positions. He knows where to look to find clarity, the unusual detail and the significant patterns, guiding parties to a solution where everyone is in a better position than when they walked into the room.
His commercial expertise is supported by a controlled yet facilitative approach to help parties reach a resolution. He is empathetic and composed, yet persistent and responsive, narrowing issues swiftly and articulating them clearly.
A purposeful path to settlement
It all adds up to a balance of specialised commercial experience and an agile, pragmatic approach. Barry’s distinct and highly effective formula will help you reach a pragmatic and enduring settlement.
“I have worked with Barry on many occasions and I have seen his mediation skills first-hand when he was engaged to assist mediation parties with financial matters – I have no doubt he will become a sought-after commercial mediator and I am delighted to welcome him as a colleague.”
Current Status and Availability
Barry retired from Deloitte in 30 November 2018. He has permanently withdrawn from the partnership and associated service companies. Whilst he still assists Deloitte and it’s clients with a small number of continuing matters, he no longer has any beneficial interest in Deloitte.
Barry would though welcome calls and emails if there are opportunities to assist you or your clients with mediation and commercial dispute matters, particularly those requiring input after March 2019.
